Early orthodontic treatment can prevent the need for more complicated treatment later on. Children can start treatment as young as seven.
Parents who think their young child has issues with their bite or teeth alignment can get a complimentary examination for their child by Dr. Maleeh.
“It’s better for certain cases to be treated at a young age,” says Dr. Maleeh. “For instance, where the upper jaw is too narrow, braces can create more space for the adult teeth to come in. Another example is where a tooth shows signs of impaction, which occurs when a tooth doesn’t have enough room to grow in through the gums. I can treat it with an appliance and prevent surgical procedures in the future.”

It includes panoramic X-rays, digital photos, a 3D intraoral scan and a preview of what the final outcome will look like after orthodontics. As well as panoramic X-rays, Dr. Maleeh takes a cephalometric X-ray. This captures a side view of your head and neck. Dr. Maleeh uses the X-rays and precise digital impressions from his state-of-the-art 3D scanner to meticulously plan the case.

Dr. Maleeh is a Gold+ Invisalign Provider and has been providing Invisalign treatment for teens and adults for nearly a decade, with hundreds of cases completed.
Invisalign’s clear aligners are nearly invisible when worn, so you can smile confidently in public. The aligners can be removed for brushing, flossing and eating, making them less restrictive than braces.
Because they’re made from smooth plastic with no sharp edges, the aligners are also comfortable to wear.

It's never too late to achieve a beautiful, straight smile!
There’s a misconception that it can be too late for Invisalign or braces. “I hear that a lot,” says Dr. Maleeh. “In actuality, I can treat any age. I’ve even had patients who are over 80.” With the advent of Invisalign’s clear aligners, there’s even less reason to procrastinate. Invisalign aligners are barely visible, and, as they can be removed, they do not interfere with normal eating and oral hygiene.
For more complex cases, Dr. Maleeh will generally recommend braces, such as for severe crowding, overbites, extraction and surgical cases, and impacted teeth. For more discreet treatment, Dr. Maleeh can provide ceramic tooth-colored braces that are barely visible.
